Corinth, Acrocorinth And Ancient Corinth

The city of Corinth, famous since ancient times, is the capital of the prefecture and is just 7 km away from Loutraki. Just outside the city is imposingly visible Akrokorinthos which was built in ancient times but occasionally conquered by Romans, Byzantines, Franks, Venetians and Ottomans. In antiquity it was dedicated to the worship of the goddess Aphrodite, but the original temple no longer exists. But it is worth the visit and you will enjoy the breathtaking views.
